Top figures and controversial policies from Donald Trump’s administration are being sharply satirized this year through Halloween displays across Washington DC.

Among the most popular subjects targeted are health secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr, who has drawn criticism for cutting funding for vaccine research; Stephen Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff for policy, widely viewed as the chief architect of the administration’s hardline immigration agenda; Kristi Noem, the homeland security secretary accused by critics of “theatrical posturing” in her handling of prison operations and ICE raids; and Tulsi Gabbard, the national intelligence director who sparked controversy after revoking 37 security clearances without notifying the White House. Policies and agendas under attack include Project 2025 and trade tariffs
