The US president made the threat during a US cabinet meeting after reports of discussions between Iran and Oman about jointly charging a toll for ships passing through the Hormuz strait. Donald Trump said that under a potential deal with Tehran, the key waterway would open immediately but not be controlled by anybody, warning: ‘Oman will behave just like everybody else.
